Shelley Defrancisco

About Shelley

Shelley DeFrancisco is the owner and inspiration of DeFrancisco Design, a local design company in Kitchener Waterloo that specializes in custom kitchens and fine cabinetry and the transformation of indoor & outdoor space.

As a designer & multi media artist Shelley divides her time between interior and outdoor design as well as painting & metal sculpture. Inspired by the beauty of nature she creates extraordinary outdoor living spaces combined with stunning gardens.

Step inside and you will see that her design style of traditional combined with a splash of contemporary brings the outdoors in. A gentle mix of both with clean lines that will endure the test of time is Shelley’s’ signature style that she calls……”Contemporary Lite.”

In 2002 Shelley decided to focus on her favourite room in the house…the kitchen. Since a new kitchen generally led to gutting the space and starting fresh, custom cabinetry and renovation became her passion. “To this day I am still amazed at the transformation from my drawings to the finished space.”

Since planning is the key component of the renovation process, Shelley and her team plan and co-ordinate every aspect of the project. When major construction is required, our Construction Manager steps in and joins the discussion.

Testimonials

Shelley’s’ sense of style and sense of humour made a difficult process much more bearable, with a stunning end result. She and her team remodeled our entire house, it’s our dream come true. If we had another house the first call we would make would be to Shelley. Thanks again.
